Deciding When To Replace
Your Equipment?

It is recommended that a customer start thinking about replacing their unit at the 10 year mark. Unit efficiency goes way down as your unit ages. Also older systems contain R22 Freon, which is being phased out. New units contain 410A Freon that is not compatible with R22 systems.

How Often Should I Have My Unit Maintenanced?

It is recommended that your unit be serviced twice a year. 1 cooling check and 1 heat check

How Often Should I Change My Filter?

Generally it is recommended that you replace your filter/filters once every 30 days.

Condenser Coil Flush

Flushing out your condenser coil is very important. plugged coils will cause unit to run hotter, and be less efficient by lot letting the condenser release heat. This can cause excessive wear and tear on your A/C condensing unit. As you can see from the video there is lots of dirt that can be plugging your coil and it might not even look dirty until you hit it with water and see what comes out of it. A simple coil flush with your condenser not running and really help in keeping your A/C running more efficient and prolonging the life of your unit.
